Locko’s Letter From Paris
In May, the iconoclast multimedia artist and designer Daryle Locko traveled from D.C. to Paris in time for the annual Paris Gallery Weekend to exhibit the European leg of his solo exhibition series, ‘LockoLand’. He wrote a love letter about his time in Paris, printed exclusively in our Spring/Summer ‘25 Issue.
French photographer Thomas Gaglewski visited Locko’s Boulevard Barbès flat to capture the artist amidst his latest works ahead of exhibitions in Paris and Vienna. The intimate shoot offers an early glimpse of his newest ‘Lockadook’ motif and freestyle drawings adorning the walls of the his sunlit guest flat.
